Onnit
What we saw
A brand with a genuinely loyal base and a supplement problem: the product only works if you keep taking it, and the customer only finds that out weeks after the first order, which is exactly when most brands stop writing. The whole back half of the lifecycle is where the money is here, and it is the half that usually gets built last.
What we did
We built the retention half. The post purchase flow opens with a plain note from the founder and then teaches the routine, because a supplement that is taken wrongly gets refunded. The second order and winback flows are timed off when the bottle actually runs out rather than off a round number of days, and the winback opens on the supply running low instead of on a code.
Nobody hired us to build this. We picked the brand, found the gap, and built the flow we would have built for them, using their own products, prices and photography as published on their site. They are not a client and we claim no result for it.
